Our Story
Starting as a young industrial designer in the sign industry some 30 years ago, Charlie Curtis found engineering to be the key to good design. Product and material knowledge also became an important factor in the design process. He also discovered quickly great design or engineering went nowhere without good customer service and sales. He quickly became adept as a sales support tech, estimator and project manager in order to maintain a continuity and quality through the life cycle of a project. He enjoys the start to finish aspect of the job, as well as helping others when they needed expertise on a given task of their own projects.

Structural Design
Design engineering of one of a kind custom structures small and large, all must meet budgets, project schedules and safety standards. The challenge of “it’s too large”, “it’s never been done”, “what material should be specified” has become our calling card.
Meeting the challenge of project budgets without compromising the design intent and structural integrity has been a constant standard in today’s economy. The correct balance of material specifications and labor methods must also be determined early in most projects.
Fabrication and Project Management
Experience as a structural design engineer and production supervisor is an asset when dealing with fabrication company’s individual methods and equipment. What works for one fabricator may not be the best for another. This understanding and communication gets the project started and keeps it on track. The jobs not complete just because the plant has shipped product. The field aspect of the job has become a make it or break it in most projects. Proper preparation and coordination of equipment, and install crews to insure on time delivery and proper fit of element sections is required. Field crews must be informed and kept in the loop.
